Originally for three equal treble voices in c minor on a text adapted from the poem Auf den Tod einer Nachtigall (On the Death of a Nightingale), by Ludwig Christoph Heinrich Hölty, transposed to a. Can be played on either bass or alto recorder. If played on bass, it keeps the original relationships. The keyboard part is reworked so as to avoid almost all hand crossing.
Keyboard parts include separate recorder parts at no additional cost.
