Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks
from: Richard Strauss (1864-1949)
A “tone poem” originally for full orchestra in F major, as here. This piece has very challenging sections, some of which involve high A's that have the option of the lower octave, also many very fast chromatics and other difficulties. Our arrangement has placed certain of these in brackets, so that you may consider yourself worthy of an Olympic medal any time you negotiate one of these bracketed passages successfully. Revised Sept. 8, 2019.
